Week 7- Gifts for Two New Team Members

I am going to call week 7 a WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER because my Boilers has a big win and I got to create many wonderful things for new friends!

Mittens for Bonnie

Is there anything cuter than a baby in winter gear? Nope!

I started these adorable mittens on Tuesday for my Dear friend Megan’s sweet 8 months old Bonnie. After getting some measurements from Bonnie’s mom I was able to finish one mitten Saturday and one mitten Sunday! The cuteness is just too much. I’m so excited that I get to meet Bonnie next week and give her the first of what I am sure will be many adorable knits!

Christmas Project Bag Swap

A few weeks ago I signed up for my first ever “swap” on Instagram. This swap is hosted by two wonderful fiber arts small business owners. In this swap we are paired up with another fiber arts lover from around the globe to swap a project bag full of goodies for the holiday season.

I an paired with a wonderful woman, Tonna from Utah! Because I will be out of town the next week, I wanted to get this done early. Oh I’m so excited because I made her the CUTEST PROJECT BAG EVER!!! Unfortunately I can’t share it all with you here yet because I haven’t sent it to her and I want it to be a surprise, but here is her box of goodies!

Week 8 I will be traveling to Kentucky for a conference and week 9 I will be spending AT A FOOTBALL GAME (YAY!) but I will happily share my vacation knitting and crafting progress with you all when I am able to.

Cheers to being OVER HALFWAY DONE WITH FOOTBALL SEASON!! I’m excited to go to the game in a few weeks, but I will be even more happy when I have my Saturdays back with my hubby.
