Hi everyone! My name is Stacy- Indiana native, Purdue grad, previous resident of Florida (Mickey's hometown!) and current resident of Georgia.
My amazing hubby Dustin is a college football writer. Growing up in Big Ten country, this seems like an ideal gig but let me tell you, it is a LOT of work! Because of his work, our home is filled with multiple college football games from sun-up to the week hours of Sunday mornings for the entire fall season.
Yes, I love football... but not THAT much!
Even though this is my hubby's third football season of being a college football writer, I still find myself struggling on Saturdays. I work a normal 9-6, M-F job, therefore our schedules are 100% out of sync for roughly half the year... no fun son! So, this year I decided to handle the season a little bit differently. Each Saturday, I have been keeping myself busy by CREATING, usually with a drink in hand and smile on my face!
It has been absolutely wonderful to rediscover my love for sewing and continue exploring knitting whilst also watching and listening to some of my favorite teams.
Through this blog, I hope that you have fun hearing about my adventures in the creative world, and maybe are even a bit inspired to spend your football Saturdays creating right-alongside me!
